Sterling C. Tanner

Chairman of the Board

Sterling C. Tanner is the President and Executive Director of the Forever Young Foundation, an organization founded by Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young. The Foundation’s mission is to pass on hope and resources for the development, strength, and education of children. Sterling previously served as CFO of Anasazi Foundation, a nationally accredited non-profit organization serving youth with substance abuse, emotional, and behavioral concerns. Sterling also spent several years in the for-profit sector working as a project and regional manager for an electronic banking firm.

Sterling serves as a board member or advisor of several non-profit and for-profit entities including Anasazi Foundation, Christmas Box House, American Indian Services, nuvoH2O, and Stop Thirst Ghana. He is also a member of the Arizona Management Society and a Paul Harris Fellow in Rotary International.

Sterling graduated with a degree in finance from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University in 1990. He speaks Swedish, having served as a missionary in Sweden. Sterling resides in Gilbert, Arizona, with his wife, Brenda, and their three children.
